Dejan Karin (b. 1980, Sarajevo, former Yugoslavia) is a Berlin-based fine art photographer and a UX designer working in artificial intelligence. As a Croat who grew up in the Balkans in the 1990s, he gained a real-life understanding of the power of the image and its manipulation, which sparked a lifelong affair with photography and film. His artistic practice is still based on this early discovery. After studying in Zagreb and spending formative time in Dublin, he has consistently balanced his career in design and artificial intelligence with his dedication to creating, publishing and exhibiting fine art photography.
